Montage Resort Deer Valley Update

For those of you who have been following the progress of the Montage Resort in the Empire Pass area of Deer Valley Resort we have some great new info to report. These guys really know how to put the gas pedal down on a construction project.
We were able to take a hard hat tour of the construction site this week. I can tell you that this property is going to be nothing short of spectacular. Although it is essentially concrete and framing at this point, it is immediately apparent that a tremendous amount of thought went into the orientation and design of the spaces as it relates to the views. You know it's something special when a muddy concrete stucture keeps you saying WOW no matter where you are in the building. The Montage takes full advantage of its location boasting views like no other in the area. The south side enjoys views of the Daley Chutes and the many bowls, framing them in a way that I have not seen before. The north side views look down valley to Old Town Park City then continue north, seemingly forever, through the Wasatch Mountains. - There will be a total of just 81 private residences for sale, once they become available. Units range from 1,800 sq. ft. 1 bedroom units to a sprawling 6,700+sq. ft penthouse. Most of the product will be larger 3 bedroom units. There will be ONLY TWO 1 Bedroom units available and just 1 penthouse. Please contact us if you have any interest in the 1 bedrooms or penthouse as we will need to be diligent to secure one as they are expected to go very fast.
- Owners at the Montage will also enjoy a Talisker membership giving them access to the plethora of on mountain amenities available. All in addition to the array of amenities available at the Montage. The golf portion of the Talisker membership is still up in the air. However, I feel confident based on what they have said that golf will be available to Montage owners one way or the other.....we'll keep you posted once this is finalized.Pricing and a product relese date is still being decided by the developer's team. They mentioned during our tour that it could be sometime in 2010....that means maybe later this ski season....likely next season. If it became availble this season, it would simply be a reservation as there is just too much to complete. They did emphasize that the will be "reasonable" in their pricing considering the current market conditions and state of the economy.
